Electric RC Airplanes are one of the fastest growing segments of the RC Hobby today. One of the main reasons I started with the electric airplanes was due to the high cost of fuel. With the electrics I am no longer buying as much expensive Glow fuel. I started to look at all the electric powered airplanes available. That is when I found this website and ordered my first electric RC airplane. I chose the Corsair as my first electric RC airplane for many reasons.
I remember as a child watching a great TV show called the Black Sheep squadron, Pappy and his crew all flew the Mighty Corsair.
I ordered the ARF version of this great Warbird because I already had a transmitter and receiver for electric RC airplanes. I just needed the ARF Corsair, servos, battery, and ESC to complete it. The electric motor was already installed, and it came with a propeller. I was able to get all of these items along with the plane from one place.
Another reason I choose this Corsair was the scale color and scale markings of this plane remind me of Corsairs I saw being flown by the Black Sheep squadron.
I have really enjoyed flying this electric RC airplane, it is easy for me to take to the flying field. I can also fly it in my neighbors backyard. I believe everyone will enjoy flying this Corsair, young or old.
